A warm welcome to our new coaches for the 2013 Swim season!!!

HEAD COACH:

Matt Wallace will be the new head coach for the Crooked Creek Crocs. He is currently studying civil engineering at Georgia Tech where he will soon finish his first year. Matt began swimming at the age of 6 with the Dutchman Downs summer team. He began assistant coaching with Dutchman Downs in 2007 and coached there until 2009. Matt joined RSA in 2007 in the MSHS Prep group. In 2008, he began swimming in the senior group at RSA where in continued until 2012.

During his time at RSA, Matt began helping with the Sea Star and Junior Prep groups at RSA. In the winter of 2011, he began working as a lead coach for Sea Stars full time. The following Summer he took on a larger role as the lead coach for both Sea Stars and Junior Prep. During his last summer before college, Matt completed his 13th season of summer league swimming. Since moving to Atlanta to attend college, Matt has been swimming at Swim Atlanta in their senior group. He looks forward to a great season with the Crocs!

ASSISTANT COACH:

Madeline Moton, a graduate from North Central College in Naperville, IL, began her swimming career when she was 3 years old as an avid member the Castle Pines [Stingrays] summer swim team. After discovering that she LOVED being in the water, she joined a local year-round swim team called the Castle Rock Cudas. She swam with the Cudas until age 13. After a brief retirement from swimming, she found she could stay away and joined her high school Women's Varsity swim team in her junior year. After high school, she continued swimming and became a member of her college's NCAA Women's Varsity swim team for all 4 years. During summer breaks in college, she taught private swimming lessons for beginners, intermediate swimmers and those looking to perfect their stroke through technique. She loves the sport of swimming and everything that comes with it and cannot wait to be assistant coach to the Crooked Creek Crocs for the 2013 season!
